Family Movie Night: Scheduled for Friday, 12/5 doors open at 6:30 pm and movie starts at 7:00pm. Feature presentation will be 'Alvin and the Chipmunks'. Refreshments will be sold before the movie starts and during intermission. Please bring your blanket or comfortable chairs and plan to spend the evening enjoying a funny movie with your family.

The Mill Donation Program: (Tricia Allen) Join The Mill Donation Program
Attention Friends in our community. Please join us in our newest program to help
our school earn free money! Please fill out the attached form so our school can
start earning 1% of your total purchases made at The Mill of Bel Air, The Mill
of Whiteford and the Mill of Black Horse stores.
If you shop at any of the Mill stores, we simply ask that you set up an
account with your information below. It’s simple. Just add your name, address
and phone number. It’s a free program and no credit card information is needed.
Ask your friends and family to join too.
We will send all the member registration forms in at one time to ensure
Norrisville Elementary School receives 1% of your future purchases! This costs
you nothing and The Mill Stores will donate money to our school, care of our PTA
to use in several different areas as needed. For example: the Fall/Halloween
Committee, Gardeners Grove, and Teachers’ Appreciation, just to name a few.
This is another free and easy way to help our school
earn money. Please fill out the form and send it back in to school with your
child. Forms are due in before the Thanksgiving break on Thursday, Nov 26th.

Target's Take Charge of Education® program
Our school is earning money! It comes to us thanks to all of you currently participating in the Target Take Charge of Education® program. By simply shopping with your Target® Visa® or Target® Card (check card linked to your bank account), a percentage of the amount of each purchase you make is donated back to our school. If you're not already taking part, please consider doing so--grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors can help, too. Big thanks to those who are already doing their part to make a great school even better.
We currently have 18 participants and our latest check we received was $74.66, so every dollar helps.

The Fall Book Fair was a great success again. Thank you!
Spaghetti Dinner (Toby Marindin)-
The Spaghetti Dinner was a big success, for the third year running we served
over three hundred dinners, and the NES school community showed its true colors
by strongly supporting this family function. It is truly appreciated. The key
of course is the fantastic volunteers who were so giving of their time.
Chick-fil-A Spirit Night: Thanks to all the families who came out on
11/6, we collected a check for $177.69 from Chick-fil-A. Miss Fritz's
class was the winner for the highest sales and received a Chick-fil-A cow
mascot and dinner coupons for each student. The class also named the
mascot Kudo Chip, which will be passed to the next winning class after the
next Spirit Night.

for their hard work and support of our school and Playground Project. Our
Playground Project Goal is $30,000 and we have raised $9,000 so far!
We are well on our way and our goal is to fund the first phase of our playground
by the end of the 2008-2009 school year.
